This is one of the WORST airports for food! Best bet in terminal 3, I believe (Jet Blue) is the new Food Network restaurant and self-serve.

We will be in Vienna in August and have already made reservations at Steirerick, as well as three others. There was absolutely no problem having them confirmed this far in advance.

I completely agree with you about Josh's Deli. We were very disappointed. Perhaps, coming from NY, with all the Jewish-style deli, this is just different...But neither of us was impressed. Also, I couldn't stand their homemade mustard. It tasted too sweet.

I live in Fort Lauderdale. Broward County, I believe, has fewer fine and interesting dining options than Palm Beach and Miami-Dade. Keeping the three together works for me.

Coconuts is on A1A just south of Las Olas Blvd. They have also recently opened an oyster bar just adjacent to the restaurant-bar.

Try Spice Quarter in Fort Lauderdale for the porcini powder.

Tom Jenkins for Barbecue, Croissan'Time French Bakery for self-serve eat in bkfast/lunch or take-out...Wonderful patries, croissants as in Paris and crusty baguettes. No southern-style around here, but excellent breakfast/brunch on Saturday and Sunday at Coconuts on the water. Gilberts on 17th St. has excellent burgers in a very casual atmosphere. Also excellent burgers at Rok Burger on Himmarshee St. Old Fort Lauderdale Breakfaast House, also on Himmarshee, has excellent breakfasts...Try their oven pancake! For a farmers market, there is Marando Farms, just off Andrews Avenue and Davie Blvd. You also might enjoy DBA Cafe on Federal Hwy for creative dinner.

We had our wedding at Sea Watch, on the beach in Pompano, 13 years ago...Outdoor ceremony and lovely private room which holds fifty. We added a steel drum band to the mix and it was perfect! Beth, the catering manager then (may be the restaurant manager now) is wonderful...Good luck to you!

Wow, just read Erica's response...I COMPLETELY disagree...32 East is lovely and has very good food and a great wine list. Pinon Grill very mediocre, "chain-like" food and atmosphere. Check out City Fish Market in Boca for very good seafood, Abe & Louies for wonderful steaks.

We did not like La Brochette at all...Don't understand the reviews, as the food, atmosphere and service are all VERY mediocre.

I personally prefer MGFD to Michy's. We were just at
Bazaar on Saturday evening and had a fabulous meal!

Marando Farms in Fort Lauderdale has fresh milk...Pretty sure they have goat milk, as well as cow's milk.

Don't know when you were last there Dolce, but we had a very mediocre meal there a few weeks ago. Not good at all, given the price point. The highlight was the mozzarella.

SEA on E. Commercial Blvd. should be perfect for you...Casual, reasonable, good, chef-driven food.

Bash Cafe is a dump with VERY mediocre food.

We ate at DBA a few weeks ago...Food very good, service slow...but they are pretty new. We enjoyed it and intend to go back soon.

I see that NY Prime was recommended....While the food is very good, the noise is, IMHO, excruciating
! A better choice would be Abe & Louie's for steaks.

We were at Azul last month and had an excellent meal.
