We're staying at the St. James, and are trying to decide whether the ambiance is worth it. Nosh looks very tempting. I'm also tempted by Harbor View, but it may be too far of a drive.

My girlfriend and I are spending Labor Day weekend in Red Wing for her birthday, and would love some food suggestions. We are spending a day hiking with friends in the area, and are looking for a place for dinner for 6 in the $10-15 entree range. A good microbrew menu is a must.

We're also looking for a nicer romantic dinner option for the two of us, in the $15-20 entree range.

Finally, any suggestions for good breakfast/brunch/lunch options would be appreciated.

Help! It's my birthday on Sunday and my girlfriend and I want to go out for a nice dinner in Minneapolis that isn't caught up in the overpriced/under-quality Valentine's Day schlock that so many restaurants have. Any suggestions?

I'm traveling to Santa Rosa in September for a wedding and will have a day or two to check out the food and wine in the area. I'd really like to visit vineyards owned by women or where the winemaker is a woman. Any suggestions?
