Sushi Houston / Sugarland
Blue Fish on Richmond about 1/4 mile east of Kirby. Inexpensive and good. Very good. I drive from Hwy 6 and Westheimer for their Sushi Pizza and the escolar. I know the pizza sounds odd, but trust me, it's freakin' good! And if you're in the mood for thai, they've make a great red curry.

Best Houston Burgers
Someburger on the corner of Studemont and 11th. Awesome! It's a little green and yellow building with no indoor seating. They do have outdoor tables...nicely located next to the dumpstes...so I suggest care-out. There's been some new construction in that area so they may no longer be there, but certainly worth checking out.
