Texas girl needs some ideas here! Folks, you've hit a home run..while I might be a Texan now, I grew up in Florida noshing on sushi and all things finny, so this list is superb and a great one for my needs-thank you! I head up to Seattle in a few weeks after a few other trips to less auspicious locales, so if you think of any where else that I must try, let me know! Thanks again!!! |

ISO good, non-corporate restaurants in East Dallas alas...too far to really be considered convenient, but thanks for the thought. |

Texas girl needs some ideas here! Hey y'all...heading up to Seattle in about a month for a couple of days and want some suggestions for great local restaurants that maybe I haven't tried before. I'm from Texas where I haven't seen a fresh piece of fish in 9 years, so seafood would be awesome. Any ideas? Asian, fusion, straight up fish joint, Italian, Martian...who cares! As long as it's local and good! Thanks in advance. |

ISO good, non-corporate restaurants in East Dallas Thanks guys...there's actually a Babe's out by me in Tarrant county, so I'm well familiar with their fatty yummyness, but very exciting that there might be some other choices that don't involve "would you like fries with that"...thanks! We lovers of Garlandites gotta stick together! |

Feasting on Asphalt- LA Edition Ok now..when I lay down my bike, no one gives me a TV show! Chris-you've got connections...get Alton to do another show like that or you'll arrest him. Love your show too! |

ISO good, non-corporate restaurants in East Dallas Have a conundrum folks...my sweet baboo lives in East Dallas (oh heck..let's just say it-Garland)..and the food choices over there are so depressing! It's a beating to drive into Dallas every time we want to eat out (we are not home cooks)...does anyone have good suggestions for the Garland-ish side of the world? I'm desperate..if he tries to tell me one more time that La Madeline is good French cuisine, I'm going to stab myself with a stale baguette. Help! |

QueenB...I live by DFW and have had no luck finding a good selection anywhere...except on my local internet. Let me know if you find something! |

Try Joe's Pizza, Pasta, and Subs-locations in the mid-cities...these are all NY Italian guys who are either in the Witness Protection program, or have discovered the fact that there are no good pizza joints in the mid-cities! |
