Apple Picking Right Now?
My parents are in town and they would like to experience the fun of fruit picking. I can only think of apple picking right now but does anyone have recommendations on where to go?
Hopefully the drive would be around 1-2 hours from Sunnyvale, CA.

Yes, Bamboo Palace opens for lunch and dinner but is closed on Monday.

You can order 3 dishes for $17 from their special menu (that's dinner for me and my hubby). Individual rice plates or noodle plates are good as well for a reasonable price. They serve free home made soup if you order dinner (and dessert over weekends).
No ramen in Palo Alto
I love Gombei though I don't think they serve ramen there. They do have pretty good set dinner and udon....

Go to Bamboo Palace on El Camino. If you come from the Asian complex (aka Cupterino Village) on Wolfe then turn right when you hit El Camino. This place is in a strip mall mixed with Indian and Korean stores. It serves very nice home cooked chinese food.
