I've been going to FSS since 1991 and I still love it! I love sitting up at the Tank bar after work on Friday night, ordering a bowl of Cream of Mushroom Soup (especially in the winter) and the Five Leaf Salad w/Goat Cheese. It's a great way to start the weekend. I also enjoy their Salmon and any of their Beurre Blanc sauces. Their staff is awesome! There never will be another Knave of Hearts, Astral Plane, or Judy's. FSS is the last of it's kind and must never die!

We also enjoy Uzu on Market between Front and 2nd. They have outdoor seating, weather permitting.

La Fourno is very good and they deliver. I love their Roman Artichokes when they have them.
Restaurant near 10th and Spruce
Tria, Mercato (BYOB), and Valanni are all on Spruce between 12th and 13th. Knock is on 12th and Locust. I haven't been to Knock yet but I enjoy the others. Google any of them, they all have websites.

What's your favorite and why? In Sarasota for a few months and looking for suggestions for Valentines Day. Been gone for 2 years and much has changed!
