Ok, so I have booked a trip to the Atlantis in the Bahamas for my family (2 adults, 1 8 yr old). I hear the food is very $$$ but I hate the restrictions of most plans. Any suggestions????

Lucy's Bistro-Babylon

Just returned from an anniversay dinner at Lucy's. We were the ony people in the place on a Saturday night. Food was very nice but the wait staff was terrible. You would think that in these times, a restaurant that is not that easy to find and a bit expensive would make you feel more at home. I guess the fact that the waiters were playing bar dice rather than tending to the only customers in the house, kind of turned me off. Would like to hear of other expierences there.

sorry but i'm lost. i rarely ever go into this place but my 7 yr old considers it a "treat". anyway, what is this coffee thing about? how do you do it?do you order at the register and then move to the left or do you walk right up to it? guess the fast food thing is way too confusing to me:)

what do you do with your "fage" greek yogurt?

this stuff is incredible. i use it in place of sour cream,mayo anything you can imagine. dips, with canned salmon, with baked potatoes, chips etc... just love it!

Yokohama!!! just west of nisan on jericho tpk. above and beyond kotobuki w/o the whole "ritual" of name on the list wait. i am a former babylonian and this place is great. fresh sushi, beautiful presentaion, great staff etc.

wow! that is so cool. i would think maybe to have a really good diagrahm of the specific cuts, to really know what you want as basics but hopefully if you have a great butcher that could help you with the finer points. sound like fun!!!

when did you start to become interested in food?

probably 4 or 5 yrs old. my grandma was sicilian, need i say more. always helping with the pizza,pasta,sauce,octopus,snails etc. but the most memorable experience was making a meal for the family from my betty crocker cook book. i'll never forget, mad hatter meatballs. just writing this brings a smile to my face. oh the memories:)
