Inexpensive restaurant near Lincoln Center
On 65th St. right across from Lincoln Center there Shun Lee Cafe which opens at 5:00 and Atlantic Grill are good choices.

Would you suggest dining at any of the high end hotels in Yangon and Bagan such as Governor's Palace, Strand and Thirpyitsaya. Does anyone have any dining suggestions for great food experiences in Myanmar. Thank you.

Recommendation near American Girl Store? midtown east?
Since you mention American Girl are you going there? If you are there is no better place than lunch at American Girl Cafe with your 4 year old. If she owns a doll or purchases one, doll will dine with you. Food is fun and memorable for child. Once a lifetime experience to go for.
UWS - Seeking celebratory lunch spot near 79th and Broadway
Ocean Grill--Columbus and 78th. Weather permitting there are outside tables too but reserve if you want one.
Looking for Really GOOD seafood and fish restaurant on the Upper West Side
Mermaid Inn has good fish in a busy lively setting. Ed's Chowder House is a better looking restaurant with poorer quality seafood in my opinion. Atlantic Grill would be a fine choice. They have a wide variety of fish, seafood and sushi in an attractive space. Look into Ditch Plains on Columbus in the 80s or Landmarc in Time Warner building also.

Torn on last meal in Rome....
Just back from Roma and would recommend Glass to you. Very hip and fun atmosphere all around the restaurant with great food and a chef who comes out of the kitchen to talk to the patrons. We went to Palazzo Manfredi for a drink which is the hotel where Aroma is located. There were only a few diners at Aroma and not what I would call a fun place though the view is superb the diners were not what you would call hip.

Kouzan at 93rd & Amsterdam for delicious sushi etc. Cafe Frida is on 77th so why not try Mermaid Inn for great fish and seafood on 88th & Amsterdam

Restaurant Week Summer 2011: The List
Maialino's lunch menu was delicious and varied. Wines suggested were lovely and friendly service made me want to return to this restaurant again. On the other hand lunch at Bar Boulud was inflexible and service amateurish. Why participate in restaurant week if you make patrons feel you are doing them a favor!

Haven't been back in 3 years. Last visit we ate in some trendy sparse looking restaurants that were delicious with creative young chefs. Can't recall names but they were near Piazza Navona and I think also Pantheon. Are there any new restaurants to try this time? Looking for more fish than meat creatively prepared.
Also any recommendations for hotels in Pantheon or Piazza Navona neighborhoods in the 300-400$ range per night. Grazie.

Francis Mallman's Garzon is a lovely dining experience. Lunch there a few months ago was memorable. It is a bit of a drive from Jose Ignacio though.

At many of the restaurants near Lincoln Center, you can control the price of the meal by what you order.
Fiorello right across the street on Broadway has delicious thin crust pizza large enough to share.
Shun Lee has a cafe where you can order dumplings and other
Chinese dishes at reasonable prices.
Sushi Restaurant right next to Fiorello.
If you want to walk a bit, go to Time Warner Center and eat in Landmarc.

Santiago recommendations
Spent several days in Santiago 2 years ago--that's as current as I can get. We loved La Mar, Puerto Fuy and Astrid and Gaston. Lunch at Tio Lucho was fun but wasn't so impressed with the food. I would recommend hiring a driver or renting a car to visit wineries outside of Santiago. A few have places to eat lunch. Montes comes to mind but no restaurant there.
