Need good pastry/bagel catering place near Central Park
Our AIDS Walk team is looking for a good pastry and bagel catering place near Central Park. It must be open at 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 18th. We don't want to pay Balducci or Zabar prices, but we are looking for high quality pastries for 45 to 50 people.
H&H doesn't do platters. Backstage Eatery on 45th Street sounds fabulous, and they were willing to open up specially to do bagels for us, but they don't bake pastries on Sunday morning.
Does anybody have any suggestions? If necessary, we will go elsewhere in Manhattan but unfortunately we can't make the schlep to the boroughs.
Good breakfast place in Chelsea
Does anybody have suggestions for a good breakfast place to take a business contact in Chelsea? This will be on a weekday at 8:30 to 9 a.m. Thanks in advance.
