has anyone been to lobo lately?????
I just talked to my friend who goes to the park slope location all the time . He said that about 2 months ago one of the 2 partners left. The remaining partner is the one from Texas. My friend said that most of the staff were from the old harvest ( the other partner used to own it) and never really got into the "lobo idea". He called it a harvest hangover. When the other partner took control he replaced a lot of the staff( front and back of house) and hired managers.He said that its still not fantastic but its getting better and better .
We sat at the bar for happy hour ($5 margaritas) and I was feeling pretty "knockered" when we left.
The place is not a tempo or appllewood but I don't think its trying to be .I was just happy to see that a place that was really bad at least trying to correct itself.
So I think I will give it another try!!!

I did not enjoy the first time I tried lobo, the food was not what I expected and the service was slow .I always like to give a place another try , I think its good to try and support our neighborhood places. A freind explained that there is a big difference between TEX-MEX and MEXICAN.I was very surprised to see how much better it has got. The staff are new and the food was really good. They lowered the price of their margaritas ,which I thought were good the first time ( but were too expensive).I was wondering if anyone else has been and noticed the improvment.
