Quick lunch in Fremont

Ditto on Paseo. The sandwiches are to die for! I recently moved out of the area but I dream about these tasty sandwiches...

Hot dogs?

Shaggy's is awesome and they do have a great sausage/hot dog selection. The fried pork chop is AMAZING too! You will not be disappointed if you go there.

Seattle- Perfect french fries?

The funeral fries at Norms in Fremont are quite good. I am usually not a fan of chili cheese fries but there is something really good about these.

Cooking class recommendations - Seattle

I absolutely love Farm Kitchen-- I got married there! The staff are amazing and the pastries are to die for. Don't pass up the chocolate chip cookie. You will not be sorry.

Queen Anne Updates?

I thought that I read that Metro Market was taking over Larry's old space at the bottom of the hill.

Weekend brunch and/or breakfast around Seattle

I absolutely LOVE Portage Bay Cafe. Its located in the University District. The pancakes are so yummy there - I am a bit of a pancake snob (usually only like ones that my mom or grandma make) but theres are fantastic. They have great breakfast and lunch!

I also recently ate a Library Bistro downtown for breakfast. It was surprisingly excellent! A bit on the pricey side for breakfast but well worth it. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. In fact, my friend said it was the best omelet he has ever had.

If you are looking for a greasy spoon then I am partial to Pete's Eggnest on Greenwood Avenue. The portions are HUGE but excellent. My husband swears that no one makes a better egg.

Best of luck to you!
