Is there hope for a great meal in the valley?

Try Top Thai in Reseda, on Reseda Blvd. near Saticoy. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is our go-to Thai place in the valley. Try the Northern Thai specialties on the back page (Kang Ho is my favorite). Service can be shaky when they're busy, which isn't often enough, but very friendly. SFV Hounds, please consider supporting this place. I don't want to lose it.

New to the SF. Valley. Where are the best places to eat??

I second Top Thai. Don't be put off by the location on a dismal stretch of Reseda. It's very cozy and nice inside, and the food is great. Don't forget to try some of the Northern Thai specialties. Top Thai is literally 5 minutes from the heart of Northridge, which is wonderful for those of us stuck out here in the North Valley.

Los Angeles Hound Needs Providence Recs

I need some recommendations for really good restaurants in the Providence area, near Brown/RISD. I'm open to all kinds of food and price ranges. Please help me make this trip a yummy one! Thanks!

Good hole-in-the-walls in Reseda/Northridge area?

Top Thai is fantastic. I agree that the Northern Thai dishes on the back page of the menu are not to be missed. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that deter you. It is actually quite nice inside, and the family who runs it are lovely people. Great food, nice people and reasonable prices, all in Reseda. It's a real gem.

Gelson's Century City is Now Serving Frozen Sushi - I Hate This Place

I don't care for the Northridge location. Customer service there is pretty weak.

Decisions, Decisions: Water Grill or Patina?

I have to make a choice, and it's not on my dime. If you were in my position, which would you choose?
