vegetarian/vegan restaurant openings in Montreal in 2013? Thanks for the heads-up! Basic info for those too lazy to Google :-) http://www.invitationv.com/ Their menu notes what is gluten-free, too. |

Where can I get Sabra spicy hummus in Montreal? > Now I'm curious about the Montreal West/CSL place lagatta mentions. I hope someone comes back here with the name. Patisserie Adar? 5458 Westminster Av Just a guess. |

I've been to the Griffintown location. I was not horrible but I found it bland and oversalted. I wouldn't go back. If you want Indian outside the tourist zones I highly recommend Thanjai on Van Horne for excellent dosas - or Moti Mehal in Little India. |

Montreal/Quebec City for Vegetarians Their menu says the omelettes are served until 2 pm on weekdays and 4 pm on weekends. |

Yeah, that's the old Casalinga location. Hoping for the best, but... |

> We used to have a dedicated coupon thread? Yup, here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/794146 It would be good if we could continue to use it - I realize some newer folks may not know of its existence. |

I got a package of pretty good roti skins at Rocky Montana in NDG on Sherbrooke, across from Esposito. In the bread section. |
Have you tried the Korean market on Sherbrooke facing Akhavan? |
I Googled and found this: Metsuyan Sushi - 2113, rue Saint-Louis, Saint-Laurent, QC |
The Atwater Market site lists it as "Marmite su'l feu" and I found this site - http://www.marmitesulfeu.com/ Looks interesting if it's the same place. |

"Trip de Bouffe" Lebanese bakery and trattoria if I may say so Thanks - I'd thought of them but the few times I've been there I found portions a bit meagre, though I love their fattouch. |
"Trip de Bouffe" Lebanese bakery and trattoria if I may say so OK, thanks! Trying to think of a Lebanese place that's a step up from Basha quality-wise, somewhat centrally located and could take a group that size. |

"Trip de Bouffe" Lebanese bakery and trattoria if I may say so How big is this place? Would they have room for a group of say 15-20? |

Expanding Montreal’s Third Wave Coffee Scene On Monkland there is good coffee to be had at both TA (corner Girouard) & The Italian Pantry's cafe (corner Beaconsfield). |
Expanding Montreal’s Third Wave Coffee Scene Ooops - I should have finished reading the thread, never mind - I see where it's going to be located. :-) |
Expanding Montreal’s Third Wave Coffee Scene https://twitter.com/eskcoffee/status/... There are a few empty storefronts it could be. Of course, all are free to ask Eskcoffee where, precisely. :-) |

Thanks for the report. Including some contact info to save others from searching: 5765 Paré |

Don't know anything about it, but I found some links in case anyone was curious like me: http://lessottises.wordpress.com/ |

Toronto foodie needs help in narrowing down choices - visiting Montreal I don't eat beef so I can't advise you very well, sorry. ;-) I suggest you tell them once you're at the restaurant what you like and they can advise you on the fat level accordingly - it can vary from brisket to brisket. There are also a few very extensive Schwartz's threads you might want to read. Good luck! |

la banquise, schwartz' or other?- eating on the drive, NOT smoked meat I missed that, brain read "Schwartz's on the Main." |

la banquise, schwartz' or other?- eating on the drive, NOT smoked meat I agree - don't get the poutine to go, it'll be a congealed mess. Eat it there and soak up the funky atmosphere. Many of the poutines come with something else (my fave is the Galvaude with chicken and peas) and it's more than enough for a meal. As far as i know, Schwartz's doesn't have potato salad. They do have turkey roll (nothing special and way too salty), salami and "stuffed chicken" - none worth a trip IMO. They do have very good smoked chickens but they're not always available so I wouldn't count on it. |

Toronto foodie needs help in narrowing down choices - visiting Montreal I *definitely* recommend Prohibition over Gros Jambon. Delectable, and much more comfortable seating. (Tables & chairs vs. bar counter & stools.) The French toast and fried chicken are amazing, I also love the huevos rancheros and companions have enjoyed the blueberry ricotta pancakes. I went to Gros Jambon once and my friend & I found it just OK. Nothing outstanding (I can't even remember what I had, which is unusual for me!) and I haven't been back. |

A new café has opened in the old Java U spot on Monkland near Girouard - has anyone been? Sign says they also do breakfast. Also on Monkland, has anyone tried Yatta Sushi & Robata, near Wilson? |

There's a review called "A review of afternoon tea at the Palm Court" on TripAdvisor from April 3, so it looks like they are. |

ISO "Liquid Red Pepper Seasoning" What a strange way to put it. Personally this context I'd read that as "red pepper hot sauce" - i.e. Tabasco, Frank's Red Hot, or your favourite hot sauce of that type. |

very large container/can fish - Montreal? Have you tried Aubut? |
Mama's Pizza -> there are a few places with the same name, could you provide an address? Thanks! |

I'm no longer seeing the errors - yay! |
I have CH open in a different browser, and I'm not logged in there. The error does *not* seem to happen on every page load when I'm *not* logged in. Only happens in the browser where I'm logged in. |
False alarm - the original error is back on every page load. |
