Searching for Sharonfruit

I tried a bite of Sharon fruit this weekend and I must say it's a fruit that I can not compare to any other. It was so sweet and juicy.

However being a T2 diabetic I was afraid to have more than one bite of this fruit for fear that it might have a high carbohydrate content. So I've decided to go on a search to find out how many carbs this fruit contains and have found only on site that gives that info and they say that the Sharon fruit only contains 20mg/100gr (sorry for using metric value's but that's all I know since living here in Europe) of carbs which is something that I find truly hard to believe. I've learned over the year's that I've been a diabetic that if something taste as good as that, then it definately cannot be good for you.

I want to ask if anyone knows and can varify the above carb content of this Sharon fruit because if it's true that it contains so little carbs then I'll start eating that fruit by the bag fulls since fruit is supposed to be good for a diabetic.

All help on this is much appreciated and I anxiously await a reply.

Thank all of you
