Hey guys, |

Great Bay has a decent one - it used to be awesome, but now it is just good. I got 2 big fish tacos, 2 chicken sliders, and to mustard glazed ribs for 15 bucks. A 4 piece sashimi sampler was 10. I miss their old sand dollar menu, but all good things... |

I'm throwing a surprise bday for my Fiancee and it will probably be around 20-25 people. I'm trying to find a place that will accomodate that for a resonable price. We love Cuchi Cuchi, so that is high on the list (we can do a res before 6pm). Also, I checked with Rocca, but they want to do a fixed $55pp menu. I don't think that is expensive, but I don't want to lock everyone into 55 a head. So - the question is - any good places in Boston/Cambridge for a group like this for dinner and drinks? I've got lots of great ideas, but they are all to expensive! So I'd like it to be cheaper for people, of course any input is great! |

Moderately-Priced on Newbury St? I like Bouchee on Newbury, not authentic bistro, but good for Newbury. Everything else on Newburry kinda sucks, but the other posts are correct, go off a little and find a gem. Petite Robert is awesome as well. |

Kenmore Square Ideas - Great Bay? Great Bay is very nice, they're catering my wedding in Sept 09. It is very nice, and a little upscale for kids. Petite Robert is right down the block and is one of the best French bistros I've ever been to and the prices can't be beat. |

Thanks a ton everyone. I have great information on how to get my knives taken care of. I know this isn't specifically about "chow," but I do use my knives to make "chow" and given the amount of responses, I would guess the community thinks its close enough! Thanks again! |
