Best not crazy expensive sushi place in city?
bako is my absolute favorite. jack and grace do a fantastic job, but i would not call it inexpensive. in fact, it's quite pricey. BUT, i would not say they have their hand in my pocket. somehow, the food seems worth the price.
Del Posto Restaurant Week
This place rocks. I love the bar, with the Club Service. Our bartender (Rich?) was a real pro--Makes for a very classy restaurant. And, yes, the desserts are sublime.
Any food gems in Upper West Side?
The Allstate is still a good standby for comfort food--prepared well, huge portions, and a nice comfy vibe on a cold winter night.
BEST fruits de mer plateau in the city...
balthazar and blue ribbon are also good--though certainly not cheap. i've had their towers, and they're excellent. the one at blt was very disappointing, though. in fact, i found the food there rather over-rated.
In search of some INCREDIBLE sushi!!
i simply adore jewel bako--still. not cheap, but jack and grace are great, and the sushi is just great. extremely interesting selections.
Top Steak in NYC
I do love keen's, though i've had friends who do not share my feelings about this. gotham does rock, too.
