NYer coming to SF this weekend, solo dining
Thanks for all of the help everyone. I am leaving for SF on Friday so I'll definitely check out these suggestions before then.
NYer coming to SF this weekend, solo dining
I am coming to SF for the weekend to get a feel for the city. I am a 36 yr old, single woman who may be making the move from NYC to SF this winter and want to find a couple spots for solo dining on Fri and Saturday night. I am looking for something upscale but not too ritzy in the city of SF - I won't have a car. (in NYC speak, looking for a Gramercy Tavern not a Per Se). I will be on my own so I'd love to find some delicious meals where I can eat at the bar without reservations. What are some notable SF nightlights that I should consider? Cuisine and price not an issue. I've never been to SF so I am clueless when it comes to fashionable eats. Thanks!
Where to go for Champurrado
I have heard about this delicious chocolate-based atole for some time and would love to find some authentic Mexican restaurants or delis or sidewalk carts that sell it. I searched this site and only found one reference to Tulcingo Deli. Does anyone have any secret spots or hints on where I can find it?
