There was a kosher Mexican palce in the Aventura mall about 3 years ago. It wass attached to a treyf restaurant, but w/separate kitchens, dishes, etc. Ate there once & it closed up pretty quickly.

My wife, daughter and I are heading to Miami (Aventura) in a few weeks, and I wanted to get opinions on some of the restaurants that I'm interested in but haven't been to. Here's my list:

Joel's Steakhouse
JP Bistro

Sara's Ten (on Biscayne Blvd.)
If anyone's been to these places and can make a recommendation that would be great. Also, any info about the suitability of these (or other) restaurants for bringing a toddler is appreciated.
Kosher at JFK airport?
Anyone know of any prepackaged kosher food at Terminal 3 at JFK? I know at the Jet Blue terminal they have some.
Dinner suggestions Sat. night near Lincoln Ctr.
I called a few places & on a lark also called Ksoher Delight on Broadway. They're the only one thta's open at 6:30. So if we want fast food, there's that. We'll probably eat something at home before we go.

My wife & I have NY Philharmonic tickets for this Sat. Starts at 8. Both Mike's Bistro & Levana are opening too late to allow us to eat & make it on time. Anyone have some suggestions for alternatives that might open around 6:30?

Kosher Kingdom in Aventura
My wife's grandmother lives in the condo complex across the street from there, so we've gone there numerous times. They have fresh baked challot on Fridays which are pretty good. Most of the takeout is good too, and they expanded recently with a large wine selection. Living in Manhattan, the selection is much better than anything near me, so I am usually satisfied after going there.

We ended up going to hunki's in Plainview. Not bad for kosher pizza. Thanks for all the suggestions.
