GREAT pizza in Stamford?

colony is no big deal 12 " pizzas on a premade frozen shell and expensive. it is no more then a overpriced fancy bar pie.

try sergios , belltown or amores if you want good thin crust italian style pizza.

Best Pizza Slice around Milford, CT?

if you want "good" italian pizza then you buy a whole pie.
if you want a slice go to pizza hut , domino's or some other off variation of a real pizza.
zuppardis is hit and miss at best for pie. sallys and pepes are way way overrated. modern is real good.
suprised to hear you dont like francos a very good pie! sorry to hear they actually stoop to making slices available.
one of the very best italian brick oven pizzas in all the milford through new haven area is pappa's pizza #2 near the milford hospital. i doubt they do slices though.
there are no really good pizza places in bridgeport unless you want that inferior cheap cheese with all the extra oil packed into it.
maybe you set your sites to high ? want not try chucky cheese ? they do slices !

Ipswich Fried Clams-My Review-Sids Seafood-tonights dinner

Ipswich clams are ok but way too sweet and strange tasting for my taste . in the seafood culinary capital of the world [ thats the east coast id you didnt know it] the best fried belly clams are either cherry stones or small cohogs. bigger belleys and all the "right" flavour. they need to be very lightly breaded very lightly ! this is the key . way too many joints over bread the clams making them more of a clam fritter then a fried belly clam. it should be almost a paper thin coasting that when gried at right temp in right oil shgould leave you biting into basically the clam and not havibg to crunch through 1/8 inch of seasoned flour. [ breadcrumbs are definetly a no-no] . its kinda the same in a sense for the best baked stuffed clams you will ever eat. if its made with bread crumbs run away as fast as possible. if you have to eat 3 bites to taste of even see a pice of clam then go elswehere. i will leave 3 hints to fantastic baked stuffed clams the rest is up to you to figure out.
1. either toll house crakers and or real specific breads
2. butter and dont be cheap with it!
3. whole cohogs cut up are just great and fairly cheap
4. did i say 3 ha! moving right along ... if you want a real treat make them baked stuffed clams casino style thats my fav! by all !
