I spoke to Bobby not too long ago. He isn't sure yet the exact date but both Peacock and BT Bistro should be open before the end of fall.

Atlantic Bar & Grill - South Seaside Park, NJ

I was there 2 weeks ago and had a great meal. Actually, I always have a great meal there. Can't remember what I had, but that's 'cause of the wine.
Hope too return there before the summer is over and I have to start working!!!!:(

The Ferry House Princeton NJ

I think the entire experience of elements will be quite different than that of Nicholas.

Looking for a good lunch in Princeton

Teresa's is not a BYOB, it has a full bar. Tortugas Mexican is good for lunch if that is your thing. Avoid the new place JLIvy unless you like poor food and service. Triumph Brewerty is alright.

JL Ivy - Princeton Junction - anyone tried?

So he is fauxrench?????????? That explains it. Just what we need, another mediocre restaurant with a half-assed frenchman.

JL Ivy - Princeton Junction - anyone tried?

Sounds like you had the same experience I did. And you are right some of the dishes at a bistro especially from a chef named Jean Luc, should be bulletproof!!!!!!!

JL Ivy - Princeton Junction - anyone tried?

Went there last night for an early dinner. While we did enjoy the outdoor dining, that's pretty much where it ended. The service was over bearing and less than knowledgable about the food. Since I assumed their strength was French "bistro" fare, the asian type dishes were better. I had the pate then the steak au poivre. While the steak tasted good it came out med well, I asked for rare, and I stressed "RARE". It was ok, the server saw the mistake and quickly fixed the problem before I had a chance to speak. Dessert never made it out to the table, but that was fine, it wasn't on the check either!
I'm not going to completley write them off, but I will wait before going back. What I will say is that the prices were reasonable.

Houlihan's-Lawrenceville Anyone Been To?

I ate there 2 weeks ago and it was pretty standard. Service was attentive and charming. Food was fine.

Central Jersey Ice Cream

Bent Spoon in Princeton is the best damn ice cream on the planet. Not the cheapest however!!!!!!!!

Looking for El Yucateco Hot Sauce in Jersey!

Just one block passed the bridge on the left hand side.

Looking for El Yucateco Hot Sauce in Jersey!

I know its not in NJ but just across the river in New Hope PA there is a place called Suzies Hot sauce that carries everything and I mean everything hot. Take half a day and go. If you are like me, you'll end up spending a lot of cash and come home with everything one could want.

Culinary Wasteland That Is New Jersey

Maybe Jersey should be renamed to " The Garden and Market State" :)

Culinary Wasteland That Is New Jersey

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a burger today

I firmly believe Stage Left has the best burger, especially if you ask them to put a chunker of sauteed foie gras on it
