Thank you. I will look at the other posts and see what I can find. Also, thanks for the recommendation in Paris!

Vegan in France??

I am a vegan and I am about to take a trip to Switzerland, France, and Italy. Am I crazy for even trying to find things to eat in France and Switzerland? Does anyone have any recommendations for certain dishes to look for that may be vegan friendly aside from pasta with tomato sauce and pizza without cheese? Thanks!

Vegan restaurants in Dallas?

I've heard of Cosmic Cafe although I haven't tried it. Are there any other chowhound vegans out there who love good food? It gets old going to whole foods for meals every time I want to go out.

[HOU] Brunch or dinner at Hugo's?

I have been to Hugo's for brunch on a Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, my brother ended up having them cater for his rehearsal dinner - outstanding food, really. Their tres leches is excellent as well - my favorite dessert. In terms of the crowd, it does get a bit crowded for brunch, but nothing that is overwhelming and obnoxious. We did not have to wait in long lines at all. When we were there, they had live music, so it was a bit loud if that is a huge concern but again like I said, not at all obnoxious. We had a lovely and relaxing time. Hope this helps and that you decide to give it a try.

Dallas Cafes?

I've grown up in Houston, a city that has many cafes and places to get good coffee at all hours. Since moving to Dallas, I have felt that it is very hard to find a nice cozy place to get coffee and possibly even wine and coffee liquers. Starbucks seems to dominate all Dallas coffee purchases. Any suggestions?

Tapas in Dallas?

I'll have to try De Tapas. Kirk - what has your experience been at Rouge? A lot of people seem to like it. You seem to know a bit about authentic Spanish food. I thoroughly enjoyed Hola when I went. Their shrimp is wonderful and the wine was great too and was very reasonably priced.

Tapas in Dallas?

I was wondering who of you in Dallas are familiar with great Spanish tapas and if so, where you would recommend going to have some. I haven't lived here long and am just beginning to really get into finding amazing restaurants. I've been to Hola and actually thought they had both great food and wine but always love trying new restaurants. Any suggestions?
