best "boozy" lunch
budget is flexible, but we wouldnt would anything too fancy of formal. food could be french or italian - but again not formal, by "boozy" i should have said lots of great wine. just looking for a long leisurely fun lunch to celebrate a birthday with wonderful wines and good food.

Restaurant recommendation for one night in Paris
I will be in Paris for just one night (sadly) and would love some recommendations for a great dinner. I will be traveling on my own, but have never minded dining solo. I’ve been to Paris about 7-8 times and have had wonderful meals at small places in/around Marais area, so would be interested in venturing out to other areas. Am staying near Place Vendome, but happy to take metro or taxi. I prefer traditional food rather than molecular gastronomy-type. Would prefer something French rather than an ethnic-inspired restaurant. Budget is flexible, but would probably want to stay under $250/200euro. Appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks!

but its definetely not my imagination that the various stores carry different stock/ items? like the example of the fage yogurt above. and i've noticed that the SF 10th street location doesnt have the tzatziki dip or variety of cheeses (for example) i've seen in other stores.

selection in general - but specifically specialty items like cheeses, appetizers (not the frozen varieties), dips and spreads, smoked fish, artisan breads, and wines.

there seems to be a difference from one costco outlet to the next. am curious as to which local costco people feel has the best selection. i usually go to the one in on 10th street in the city, but have noticed that the selection is sometimes lacking. Are there others south, east bay or in marin that are preferred?
