Now I have Tokyo sorted...I need one restaurant for Kyoto. Im finding it hard getting any suggestions. I would prefer something other than kaiseki ryori as that is what we are having each night at our inn.

Jewel again! After Rappongi we will travel to Kyoto - Higashiyama-ku area and I have no idea where to eat. Can you please recommend to me a restaurant and or an izakaya. But no dam UNAGI, Please :)

Hi my husband and I will stay 4 nights in Rappongi minato-ku area, we want the best possible eating out experiences and especially I want to take my husband to an Izakaya with great japanese atmosphere and of course good old japanese pub food!
