I have fond memories of eating butter tarts galore while spending summers at the cottage. I am 55 now and the sweet syrupy pleasure is still fresh in my mouth. Thanks for the recipe and Happy Thanksgiving to all of us ex pats.
What to bring to a Chanukah Party
I was told that olives are also a traditional gift for a Chanukah party host. Costco sells a large and fairly attractive glass jar filled with different types of olives.

I'm sorry to report that "My Flavorite Bakery" has closed. There is another bakery there now but I haven't tried it. I peaked inside and was not particularly impressed .
