Recommendations within WALKING distance of the Downtown Denver Westin

I have lived a block away from the Westin for 20 years and am a foodie.
Venice (upscale) or Colore (downhome) for Italian. D-Corazon for downhome Mexican, Tamayas for upscale Mexican,Ted's for downhome bison or burgers Capital Grill for steaks. PF Changs has very good upscale Chinese, H-Burger is loud and service is poor. Cholon is the hottest place in Denver right now, delicious, small plates to share. The Market is alot of college kids and noise, go for just coffee and a pastry nad sit outside. Try Dixons for breakfast. French is Bistro Vendome. Riojas is good, alittle too over the top for some. Walk up 15th Street to Platte street for the oldest bar in denver (no sign, it's across from the Vitamin Cottage) and the best burgers, no tvs, just classical music, it is called My Brother's Bar- a big piece of Denver history. If you go for lunch wed-fri, sit at the bar and ask for Jimmy the bartender, and order a Johnny Burger (jalopeno cream cheese). You will have fun.
