Spelling of Trini recipes tends to be phonetically based rather than formally taught. You can find the same recipe spelled 10 different ways sometimes lol :) The Naparima cookbook is definitely a must have for most Trinis however from what I've noticed it assumes that the cook knows and understands how the recipe should turn out, as a result a lot of foreigners sometimes have less than stellar results . Sweet Hands appears to be written from more of a beginner's step by step perspective. It's really good though and the recipes are just as spot on :)
