Wuji Mala's Hot Pot - San Jose/broth question

I enjoy the non-spicy broth offering at this restaurant. It's a milky white broth that has great flavor. The staff seems kind of secretive about it so I've been doing some searching on the internet to try and identify the ingredients but haven't had much luck. The waiter did ask if we had any dairy intolerance, but the info on the web mention soy or coconut milk so it would seem different from that used at the restaurant. Any ideas on the broth recipe? Thanks!

meal delivery service for Mountain View area

Can anyone recommend a place that will deliver home cooked meals? I've heard of Three Potato Four (for organic), Sous Kitchen, and Jessie et Laurent, but am also interested in hearing about any type of Asian delivery service such as Com Thang ("monthly rice") that will deliver outside of the San Jose/Cupertino area.

IAny recommendations on places that serve grass-fed, dry-aged steaks in the South Bay or peninsula? I'd like to take my husband out for his 40th b-day.

Doofapalooza at Google

The second annual doofapalooza event is being held at Google in July ( This seems to be a kid and food related event with the famous google cafes providing food. Did anyone attend last year? I'd like to hear what they thought.

Former Location of Flames Diner in Santa Clara

There's been a lot of construction going on over at the former Flames Coffee Shop/Diner near El Camino and Lawrence Expy in Santa Clara. Does anyone know what the new restaurant will be?

Pam's Cajun Brunch

Has anyone been to Pam's Cajun Brunch (run by Piccadilly Catering) which is offered on Sundays in Foster City? I couldn't find anything about it on this board.
I read a couple of favorable reviews on the yelp board, but couldn't find out much info otherwise.

My husband, the kids, and I checked out the Santana Row location this past week and were very disappointed. My husband is the least pickiest eater there is and he found the turkey sandwich incredibly dry. My tri-tip sandwich was OK, but on the small side. The kids, who normally love mac and cheese, barely touched their kid's meal. We will not be going back. Maybe the other locations are better?

99 chickens?

There's a new Korean chicken place that I've noticed in Santa Clara on the corner of ECR and Bowers. I've heard that Korean rotisserie chicken is supposedly very good. Has anyone been there yet? Is it very spicy?
