Anyone tried Lunazul Tequila yet?
I have a bottle of both the silver and the repo at home and enjoy them both. It's going for just under $20 here and has a $10 mail in rebate on one bottle. It's a hell of a tequila for $10.

A vodka collins made with Smirnoff Orange is a nice refreshing drink and the price is right.

Crown/Rocks or Crown/Water. Pretty tough to screw those up & all bars have Crown.

BTW you will probably want to call during daytime hours and ask for either Jerry or Chuck. They are the owners, I'm pretty sure the college kids working at night won't know anything about it.

Tequila and Coke? WT?
"Designed to drink with coke" are the words of Cuervo marketing, not mine. I'm guessing that is their way of saying it's not to be mixed the same as traditional tequilas. I did have someone tell me they tried it in a margarita with less that positive results. To which my reply was also less that positive.;)

Tequila and Coke? WT?
Cuervo Black is an anejo tequila that has been aged in charred oak barrels. It is designed to drink straight up or with coke. To me it taste like tequila with a whiskey finish. Not great, but not bad. If nothing else you should try it just to say you have had it and can give an informed opinion.

Absolut New Orleans Vodka
They are only making 35,000 cases so it could be a collectors item. While I'm not a fan of Absolut I would have no issues buying some since money from the sell goes to a good cause.

Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey
Has anybody had this stuff? Looks like it's mainly just available in Colorado but is starting to make it's way into some surrounding states, I know it is available in Nebraska for sure. I've read so good things about it, but was just looking for some more opinions. It is on the pricey side, $55 for a 750ml.

Tapitia makes a decent one. FWIW I add some OJ to it or it's more like bloody mary mix. I was fortunate enough to spend time in Guadaljara and tour the Cuervo and Don Julio distilleries we had sangrita with every meal with each one being different. Some were more tomatoey(is that a word?) and some had more citrus taste to it. It all depends on what you like.
Looking for a sipping tequila
For an inexpensive but solid tequila I enjoy Jose Cuervo Tradicional.
Blended/Frozen Drink Recipes
I'm having a BBQ next weekend and I was hoping you all could help me with some good blended/frozen drink recipes. I'll probably stick with something simple like a nice G&T for myself, but my wife and her friends prefer something from the blender.
