Seattle's Best Sandwiches

They really hit it out of the park. I want to try them all. Their potato salad is also spot on, and grey have beer on draft, which makes them a great pre funk option for Sounders and Mariners.

Seattle's Best Sandwiches

Newcomers to the scene since this thread originated are Rainshadow Meats Squared in Pioneer Square. I had lunch there today, and it was exceptional. Check out the daily specials. Also, Where Ya At, Matt?, a cajun food truck, has killer Po' Boys.

Good luck. I have no idea where you could get that. I do miss Emo's.

Good food at the bar?

It's a bit of a walk, but Quinn is the best gastropub in town.

Blueacre Seafood

Blueacre is in the building I work in. I went there for lunch the first week it opened and thought it was wonderful.

Polish or Hungarian Food in the Puget Sound Area?

It's more a deli/grocery store than a restaurant, but George's Delicatessan at 9th and Madison is awesome. Get the polish sausage and take it home to grill, or get a sandwich there.

Oysters in Seattle?

It's a little touristy, but Elliot's Oyster House is hard to beat, especially their progressive happy hour.

Best of Seattle - Help

This is a great list. Personally, I might substitute Lark for Cafe Juanita to avoid having to go to the Eastside, but you can't go wrong with the rest of the list. Salumi is definitely a lunch spot. Get there around 11:30 if you can, otherwise you'll wind up waiting and risk them running out of food. The porcetta is to die for.

Johnsonville Brats--what's the big deal?

Just the opposite, actually. Boiling makes them really juicy, as the sausage sucks up some of the beer flavor.
