My coworkers would not enjoy vegetarian. I will so I think I will try it. I was thinking about going to a Korean bbq so we could cook it at the table.

I am taking a team of 10 out for a thank you dinner and I'm looking for a fun place to go. Last year was sammy's roumanian steakhouse and it was a big hit. I would like to stick to Manhattan and I am open to any suggestions. Russian Vodka room, chefs table, Korean BBQ... Any ideas

My kids are just getting old enough to take out and I was happy to find some places in my neighborhood where they can eat for free. Where else in NYC can kids eat for free?

Rodeo bar (28th and 3rd) only on Mondays, they have 4 items on a kids menus and for each adult order you get 1 child's order

Brother Jimmy's (31st and Lex). I haven't gone yet but I hear they take good care of kids and they eat free every night with a regular entree order.

L'amazou is the best for sandwiches. Chinese I stick with Noodles on 28th on 29th. I think noodles has better food when you eat in.

Thai is tough in 3rd I go to all 3 near each other because they all have certain dishes that are great. ThaiNY has good prices. Jaiya has the best Panang I have ever had as
well as Tom Yun soup (they bring fire to your table, how do you say no to that. ). Soi 30 also has some good Thai and cheaper then Jaiya.

Indian you have to just eat at a lot of places. Check out Handi, all the cabbies go there.

I have not found any good Mexican so I end up at Rodeo Bar.

For Pizza I stick with Pastafina. They always have good slices available. If you like ala vodka sauce you have got to try their pasta with Pastafina sauce pink. It is ala vodkaish with some vegetables

Make sure to go get a Carl's Cheese steak with the works and cheese wiz ASAP.

I live on 3rd avenue in the 20's and I am looking for good burgers at fun bars. I wanted to start by recommending a good bar that has gotten some mixed reviews.

They have a very affordable Sunday brunch menu and the seats in the back are big and spacious. I went with my wife, our 4 month old daughter and her grandparents. We had no problems getting a seat and they offered to help as much as possible with the baby. I got to sit back with my family, who were finally out of my apartment. I was able to enjoy a beer, watch some baseball and relax for an hour. Since this was my first time there for brunch I had to go for the Irish breakfast and it was well worth it. Lots of good food, some of which I'm not sure of what it was. Also the bloody maries were nice and spicy

In the past I've had their Bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer that was over cooked, but the chicken satays were really good

Finally if you are willing to have a good burger, actually a great burger that is not made in a way that you would normally ask for then you must have the Arctica Sirloin Burger Black Pepper crusted, Roquefort blue cheese, portabella mushroom.

Downstairs is pretty cool looking but the only reason I've hung out down there was weighting in line to go to the bathroom because I didn't know about the upstairs bathroom.

One final point, if you do find yourself at Arctica take a few minutes to look at the pictures and read the story on the menu and on the Endurance Ale. If you get roped into the story I highly recommend you read Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansig.

You will get mixed reviews, but everyone I have taken there loves it. It seems like authentic thai food to me. My favorite dish is the Chicken Panang. One warning is that the pad thai is not made with sauce like the standard pad thai we are use to.

You also have to try the soup. Anything that is served to your table with fire is a good thing.

Warning Medium is hot and hot is insane.

Jaiya 396 Third Avenue (at 28 th st.)

I have seen many mixed reviews, but no one that I have ever taken to Jaiya on 28th and 3rd is ever disappointed. 396 Third Avenue (at 28 th st.)

My personally favorite is the Chicken Panang. The Pad Thai is good to share, it's a dry pad thai so most people are a little confused because it is usually served with tons of sauce.

It is more expensive then most thai places and the dishes seem smaller hten a few years ago, but it seems to me to be good authetic thai.

It's official 2nd Avenue Deli is re-opening on monday 12/17 at 162 E 33rd St (between 3rd and Lex). The store had been boarded up for a few months now while it was under construction, but today as I walked by there was a waiter outside with an Apron on. I asked about the opening and he not only told me it was monday he took me inside to look around. They were having a test run with friends and family tonight so a lot of waiters and people were hanging out. It has a full bar and while there isn't as much seating as they had at their last location, it is all brand new and looks real nice.

I am looking forward to my first pastrami on monday

Man I miss Aiello's. I wish they would sell their receipe to one of the new bars.

Blondies on the Upper West and Scruffy Duffys are tied for my favorite wings in NYC. My second choice is Back Page, but I can't call them traditional. They're wings have a strong Tobasco taste, too strong for me to consider them traditional wings. They are consistent though so I will be going back.

Does anyone know of places where you can rent storage space in a wine cellar? Space is a premium in my apartment and I quickly outgrew my 17 bottle wine cellar. I remember awhile back a wine store in the Chelsea Market Place offered this service, but I'm looking for any other locations in Manhattan for this or reviews of any you have used.
