Lao Restaurant in NYC/boroughs?

My great friend moved here, she's Lao, she's the real deal. She's homesick. She wants a good Lao place to sample and remedy her wistful yearnings. The options seem pretty anemic at this point. Hoping somebody can tell me the status has changed.

Best Indian Restaurant

What's the word on the best indian these days? Is Murray Hill the place to go? I work there, and have eaten at Chennai Garden and some others a few times, but wanted to find out if Dawat was still up to snuff...thoughts?

Want spicy. Authentic. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. Cheers.

dip's country kitchen! i haven't lived there in about ten years, but i'm sure it's still there. crook's corner is delicious too.

100% grass fed beef. Icky! Am I crazy?

you definitely have to cook it in a different way from traditional grain finished beef. here are some tips: http://sustainabletable.org/features/articles/grassfedbeef/
