Mucho, It's kinda hard to describe, Carroll Shelby's tastes kinda flat, Maybe more bland compared to Six gun. Everyone that has had my chili's say they prefer the taste of six gun. I think it tastes much better. Try some you won't be disappointed. If not you can always have the CS Chili. |

Same here I use a pound or 2 more meat. I always combine Ground beef & ground turkey and if i can find some good ground pork also. My "Secret is pour a few cans of Tecate beer in and throw in a few Beef Bouillon cubes also" |

It's WAY better than Carroll Shelby's. Upon walking through the whole store (Ralphs) I found Six gun chili mix right next to the butchers meat counter. They had carroll shelby's & Blue ribbon chili mix in the spice isle. |

Years back I found the best Chili Mix. "Ole Hired hands Six Gun Chili Mix. Now I can't find it. Last place i found it was Ralph's on Hawthorne Blvd. The company used to be in Texas, Google search says they are in Orange, CA I can find places to order on the Internet but I'd like to just go to a Market. Anyone See It Anywhere? Thanks, David |

Hatch Chilies look like Anahiem Chilies. But they have MUCH more Flavor & if you wish Heat. The Green ones are picked while still Green. The Dried red ones are alowed to fully ripen then picked and dried. Chopped and added to whatever they make the BEST Chile Verde. Or Diced and chopped added to a Good Cheese Burger. |

The Return (and Departure?) of Lobster Ramen to Ramen Halu The Tongue was Incredible! It's kinda like Korean BBQ meets Chashu. It's first smoked then slow cooked for 7 hours. Smokey taste and Tender Tender Tender. Now I gotta plan a trip to Sendai Japan. Actually Kenjisan said he would like to open in Los Angeles someday......YAY! |
|

The Return (and Departure?) of Lobster Ramen to Ramen Halu Wow lobster Ramen. Guess I'll have to remember next year to come try some. I'm Glad in So Cal were able to enjoy the Best Japan has to offer. Chibakiya Gyu Tan Shio Ramen is now my Favorite of All Time. |
|
|
I enjoyed Both Ramen However I guess I'm getting Burned out on Tonkotsu Broth Ramen. Ippudo was good but to me The noodles were skimpy, I had to eat 2 bowls to get full. However with the Gyu tan shio Ramen I Enjoyed the Amount of noodles they gave you and I drank ALL of the Broth. In fact after Dreaming about the Ramen I went back a second day, I'm glad i did. I bought a few more Instant cup o Ramen. And picked up some more Chashu & menma. I asked the guy working the Chibakiya booth, Can I buy a T-Shirt? I'm sorry I can't make that decision, =( However a Girl working there said let me go ask my father..... Yes she was kenjisan's daughter. a minute later Kenjisan himself walks over and tells me i'm Sorry but i cannot sell the T-Shirt....... =( Major Bummer..... But then he Said I can Give you one! =) YAY! I guess now I'm Chibakiya's Super fan now..... Now Hurry OPEN OPEN OPEN in LA |
