Santa Ana - Lunch Options (near Discovery Science Center) Just wanted to report back... We ended up not having lunch down there as the kids were all exhausted after snacks and we left around lunchtime (got there early around 9:30). But I did get a membership so we'll be back and I'm sure will use these lunch suggestions in the future. Thanks again for all the recommendations! |

Santa Ana - Lunch Options (near Discovery Science Center) THANK YOU! This looks like it will work for us. Love the kitschy-feel of the website (I know it's a chain, but I haven't heard of/been to before). It looks like another option may be CPK. Thanks again Servorg - you also helped me with my Passover meal :) |

Santa Ana - Lunch Options (near Discovery Science Center) Yes, I should have mentioned we are going on Sunday (for the Bubblefest). Thx again for the suggestion! |

Santa Ana - Lunch Options (near Discovery Science Center) Bummer x2 (doesn't meet 2 of my criteria) but the menu looks awesome. May need to try some other time. I should also mention we'll need alcohol too. Don't judge, you would too if you were dining with 2 sets of toddler twins ;) |

Santa Ana - Lunch Options (near Discovery Science Center) Any recommendations for lunch near the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana? Walking distance preferred. And it needs to be kid-friendly as we'll have 2 sets of toddler twins (FOUR 1.5 years old) with us. Thanks in advance! |

Character Dining at Disney World (and other dining recommendations) Ohana was on my short list, so maybe I'll have to reconsider. Thanks for the suggestions. |

Character Dining at Disney World (and other dining recommendations) BTW, my kids are used to dining out and usually well-behaved. |

Character Dining at Disney World (and other dining recommendations) Going to Disney World in May and my twin girls will be almost 23 months and I think it's be fun to take them to one of the Character Dining restaurants. Any suggestions of where we will have the best food? What about the best meal/time to go? They love Mickey and friends, and are into Sophia the Princess (but not really other princesses yet). Should I just stick with Chef Mickey's or Mickey's Backyard BBQ? I've read through all the suggestions on the board and narrowed to the below places. I'm not sure which meals or days we will go to them - haven't planned that far. Which ones do I definitely need reservations for? We are will only be there for 4 days/3 nights (but really only 2 full days). Thank you so much in advance! - Citricos We will for sure get Dole Whips and check out Sleepy Hallow for waffle sandwiches. |

Any Recs on Passover Take-Out? Thanks for all the awesome suggestions, as always. I was able to order last minute from Clementine. Everything was delicious!! I got Matzo Ball soup, beef brisket, quinoa salad, haroset and homemade matzoh. Even one of my 1.5 year olds ate an entire Matzoh Ball! |

Any Recs on Passover Take-Out? Preferably between Glendale and Beverly Hills? I known there is always Gelson's, but was wondering if anyone had other ideas? I know it's last minute too. Thanks in advance! |

SEVERAL NEW RESTAURANTS - ANY IMPRESSIONS: RIVABELLA, DOMA, BEDFORD & BURNS, HOME Went to RivaBella for lunch during DineLA...which we had to ask about and they seemed almost surprised when we asked for a DineLA menu. The place was very beautiful; loved the patio setting! The crowd was older - maybe different for dinner? The food was okay - some hits and misses: Hits: Radicchio Salad with Crispy Polenta Croutons, Tagliolini Pasta with Lemon, Basil and Cream Misses: Fried Mussels with Beer Sauce, both desserts we had were huge misses --- cheesecake and chocolate cake, which was more like Flan. Gross!! Neither hits or misses: Spinach Pappardelle with Lamb Ragu and Mint |

I had a private party at Cube a few years back and we brought multiple bottles of wine for no/little corkage fee (can't remember). They customized a tasting menu for us. Not sure if they are still doing this, but it was a very cool room. |

The Griddle ... in West Hollywood, on Sunset & Crescent Heights. |

I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but I sort of like Mexikosher ... I'm not ashamed to admit that I like it too. It's in my neighborhood so it's a nice alternative. |

While I don't have any suggestions, this gave me a great idea to have this at my twin daughters 1st birthday coming up in June. Why don't you just ask one of the guys you buy sliced fruit from? I'm sure they would come to your event/wedding. |

Suggestions for "Easter" Sunday - Early Dinner (4'ish) - West Hollywood/Bev Hills/West LA Any suggestions for early dinner this Sunday in West Hollywood-Beverly Hills-West LA area, even Santa Monica would be ok? It doesn't need to have a "special" Easter menu, and actually would prefer not to. I hate going out on holidays! Baby friendly recommendations as I have 9 month old twins - but very well-behaved and they are used to going out. Probably under/around $20-$25/entree. Thanks in advance! |

What is good for high tea/shower event in BH/WeHo area? Chado or maybe Beverly Hills Hotel |

Need recommendations for caterers for a bris Not sure what you mean by "inexpensive" as that is really subjective, but check out Tender Greens. They catered my baby shower and it was around $15 pp (I think). The food was great and staff wonderful - they were very flexible on multiple diet restrictions. |

Awesome - thank you so much!! Helps tremendously. We usually do Standing Rib Roast but the butcher convinced my mom to get this...I do most of the cooking and wasn't sure how to do this. |

Santa Monica/Malibu Lunch - With Twin Babies (3 months old) Thanks again for the suggestions - we ended up at Zengo and it worked really well. Except for the parking situation --- all the valets were full and the parking lots were a nightmare. It look almost 45 min to get a spot. But I digress...the food and drinks were great at Zengo. I think we tried everything on the menu - stand outs included the beef tenderloin benedict, seafood ceviche, thai chicken empanadas, grilled achiote salmon. They were very accommodating with our double stroller and gave a us table that was not near a lot of people. Perfect afternoon :) ----- |

Santa Monica/Malibu Lunch - With Twin Babies (3 months old) It's my DH's birthday next weekend and we wanted to go out to a nice brunch/lunch - that was in an area where we could maybe go for a walk before or after. We have twin baby girls that are 3 months old so it needs to be baby friendly. We are open to other areas also if you have another great suggestion. Pretty open to type of food. Probably entrees under $25 would be preferable. Thanks in advance! |

Years ago I went to a nice baby shower at Cafe Bizou in Sherman Oaks. Looks like they have a party brunch menu for $19.95 pp. I believe they have no/really small corkage fee so you could bring your own wine. http://cafebizou.com/party-menus/brun... ----- |

Maestro's - first visit tomorrow night - any first-timer tips for me? I like upstairs because it has windows...downstairs dining room seems more like a banquet hall to me. The piano is in the bar - would recommend a table not in the bar. |
