Best meal I ever ate:
Technical perfection... Matsu in Kyoto, Charlie Trotter, or Susur (at its height). But for pure love of food, any and all of my birthday dinners cooked by maman.
My current drink of choice:
Mr. Rabbit's seductive sidecar
I really wish I could:
Reverse my bivalve allergy (I miss scallops!).
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
I make a fantastic sticky toffee pudding - Mr. Rab handles the main
My favorite comfort food:
Couscous mixed with peanut butter (I know this is repulsive)
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Le Select, Eastern Standard Kitchen (Boston), Terroni, Cotton (Manchester, NH) and I looove the Library Bar at the Royal York
My most tattered cookbooks:
For pornographic value, anything by Charlie Trotter; for actually cooking, my dog-eared, spiral-bound, hand-written book of family recipes built by Grandma Melba
