Big Sur
Any recommendations for yummy places really close to Big Sur? Looking for things relatively quick and cheap, for either pre- or post-hike, and open on a Sunday. Two meal times in particular: noon-ish and 5-ish.

Thanks for the replies guys. They all sound great, while I am definitely a diner person, the vegetarian is not (so I might go without her!). To narrow it down, French is probably out, but the others are great.
I also heard about this place Strawberry St. Cafe - any thoughts?
Richmond, VA and surrounding area
In Richmond, VA this weekend for a graduation. We have one vegetarian with us. We have a car so can drive (maybe even far, say an hour), especially because things around the area will be packed. I also hear Charlottesville has graduation so that may be out of the question. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

hey guys,
i'm going to be in town in a few weeks with my girlfriend who is vegetarian, and i'd like to take her to a good place. doesn't have to be expensive or fancy (actually preferable that it's not fancy), just good. will be in hyde park but am open to anything not too far away. thoughts?
ps. from previous posts it seems like hyde park offers a few places that would fit the description: cedars, the nile, the snail, pizza capri, and possibly the rajun cajun.
