Unfortunately you are eating in a place that retains its original name but could be named anything. It is not authentic. The food there is very bland. It is a shame.

I am cuban born in havana, el sitio at one time was authentic but the original owners sold there business years ago. It is not what cubans would eat today
Rincon Criollo is a more authentic option.

New Vietnamese on Staten Island
This place is great and rivals many Vietnamese places i've been to in Chinatown. I wouldn't worry about it going anywhere, two weeks ago there was a 25 minute wait for a table on a Saturday night.
