Costa Rica, near Manuel Antonio Park
Hmm, just got back from there last month. The food near Manuel Antonio definitely doesn't represent the rest of Costa Rica. Everything around there is very touristy (expensive) and not very authentic. We stayed at the Si Como No resort and ate at the hotel restaurant pretty much every day (food was good) and also for a little fun (and to see a piece of history) you may want to check out El Avion Bar and restaurant. http://www.costaverde.com/avion01.htm

Costa Rican Imperial Beer in Houston???
Ahh yes, great beer and food. I just returned from my second trip to CR last month and brought back 2 6 packs of the tall boys. Ive been trying to ration them but only have 4 left. Must find more...
