Navajo Grill in Fredericksburg, TX before it's move to the new location. A beautiful meal which began with some wonderful crab cakes (mostly crab, little cake) in a remoulade. Entree was Escolar topped with fried spinach in a cream-based sauce. Dessert was a to-die-for chocolate torte. Just an absolutely wonderful meal!
My current drink of choice:
Iced tea, year round. Right now my choice is the Black Tea from Republic of Tea, served in Starbucks around here.
I really wish I could:
Travel more and visit some of the wonderful ethnic food places I've heard about. I'd love to try as many different ethnic foods as possible.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Southwestern Cheesecake. More of a dip than a cheesecake, made with cream cheese, green chiles, etc. and served with homemade tortilla chips. That or dessert of various kinds.
My favorite comfort food:
Depends on the time of year... Most of the time it's pasta, homemade, with great red sauce or mac and cheese made with blue.
