does Akasha have a good steak? Fraiche has a steak dish that is in the 25 dollar range...restaurants in that range are good for me...

Where is a good place to have a birthday dinner? I have gone to Magnolia and Luna Park are there other options - I am the b-day girl and want steak so somewhere I can get a nice steak and veggies. Looking for places in the lower price range.

I want to have dinner and actually see the sun set. When I was in Malibu you couldn't actually see the sun setting. Any suggestions of places in Santa Monica that aren't too expensive?

I know about Lawry's but is there another place to get great prime rib in the Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood area?

I love Urth but we have to go to Century City afterwards and it is out of the way. Maybe another time though because I love their teas

My cousin is coming from nyc - he wants to go to a good place to eat - good food where we can actually talk. He has to go to a show most likely downtown or in Hollywood.

I wanted to try BLD but hearing mixed reviews of it and the food - is that a bad choice.
Or maybe Off Vine - haven't been there in years...so I need some suggestions. I don't want to spend an extreme amount of money.
