An eating vacation in NYC in November. Help please!

Red farm is great casual, yummy dinner....and they don't take reservations.... Gets packed but so worth it. Stick with the dim sum and apps..... Marys fish camp is a great casual lunch. Best oysters and fries in the city.... Both of these restaurants are in the west village...

Try Boulud Sud for a special dinner.. Amazing Mediterranean small plates, and fab cocktails! (Daniel Boulud's newest)
Call ASAP, u may get an early seating....

Oh and you MUST have breakfast/brunch at Norma's.....(Le Parker Meridian Hotel)

Enjoy your visit!

Any thoughts?

Anyone been to Da Silvano lately? Help me please :)

Its for Sunday, Nov 13,,, $ 50-60 a pp.... Would love to try Scarpetta although price seems a bit higher and food more adventurous... I'm going with a group who loves linguini and white clam sauce, and fried calamari...

@ coasts

So would you say better food at Crispo, trendier ambience at Scarpetta?
Scarpetta is a little pricer, but I would rather pay for better food..

If you had to pick, Scarpetta or Crispo?? HELP??

Going out to dinner with 7 ppl for a 40th Bday... Want really GOOD Italian food, not crazy expensive or foo foo.

I have narrowed it down based on much research and reviews to Scarpetta or Crispo. Someone make up my mind...

or maybe a better suggestion???

Step up from Carmines but not a Babbo or Marea :)

Thx!!!!!!!

Question about French Laundry Reservation

If you print up your confirmation on opentable of your FL reservation they will definitely honor it. I have never had a problem with opentable..I have been to
Per se on opentable always bringing my printed opentable confirmation just in case. I wouldn't worry about it.

L'impero or A Voce??

Since I can't get a reservation at Babbo, I need second best. Do either of these hold a candle to Babbo. Any other suggestions? Prices and atmosphere of no concern, looking for AMAZING FOOD. Thank you...
