where to buy Italian Double 00 flour? You cant make pasta with anything but 00 or doppio zero. After you roll out your noodle or ravioli you dust it with semolina so it wont stick. I have also taken to freezing my ravioli to stabilize the glutons, thus not breaking up in the water during boiling. |

Terizzi on 30 th ave and 30 th st in astoria is great for classic italian pastry. Cannoli cream is real ricotta not all powdered sugar. |

buffalo wings in Woodside/Sunnyside if you live in woodside i would suggest expanding your horizons. sriphaphai thai rest off rosevelt ave 65th st is great also a hop away from the best indian in jackson hieghts and sunnyside offers so many things it baffles the mind..korean, tibetan, spanish, even a taco truck or two...if none of this gets you go for the burgers at donovans.you wont be disappointed |

Best Prociutto di Parma and San Danielle: NEED A BRAND! and where to get it! the best prosc in the market is the black label. availible at citarellas or murrays. citarella has better prices and more locations. plus most everything you'll need food wise. |

Need some help from Babbo veterans sweet breads yummy, lambs tongue i wish i was there now |
|
|
Need some help from Babbo veterans as a former babbo diner and heaving worked in that diningroom for over 2 years i would recommend for the first time to not get the tasting menu but go ala carte. the signature dishes or stronger menu items all lie on the ala carte menus. particularly the beef cheek ravioli and the goose liver ravioli..ask the server what the best items are..order 2 apps followed by 2 pastas then 2 mains...you wont be disappointed |
