Imagawa-yaki
Hi All,
I am in search of an imagawa-yaki shop. Does anyone know of any in the US, other than the one in Beverly Hills?
Thanks!
San Gabriel Valley
What would you say are the most romantic restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley?
Manhattan Beach / Highland Ave.
I'm planning to head out to Manhattan Beach in a couple days to get dinner/drinks with some friends over there. Do you have any suggestions in the area, around Highland Ave.? Thanks.
Tasting Menus?
What's the best (or quirkiest) tasting menu you've had here? Looking to try something new... Thanks.

What would you say are L.A.'s most formal restaurants, where men wear ties/coats and women dress up? A friend of mine is looking for such a place to celebrate an anniversary. . .
Chung King Road
Anyone know of any good Chinese restaurants near the art galleries on Chung King Road? Doesn't have to be super fancy. . . just tasty. Thanks.
Wine Clubs?
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good wine club. I'm looking to buy it as a gift for a friend's wedding, and I'm hoping to spend between $100 and $150 for a duration of 6 months. Please let me know -- thanks!!!
Overcooked Brownies
I just made brownies, but they came out too hard/overcooked. As I would hate to just throw them away, does anyone have any ideas on how I could soften the texture? I know I could serve them with ice cream, but is there anything else? Thanks!!!
A Wonderful Bit of Paris in L.A.: Anisette Brasserie (Dinner, Brunch & Breakfast) [Review] w/ Pics!
Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the majority of these posts regarding the service. I went here this week and waited 40 minutes for lunch to receive my nicoise salad. Granted, they did just open not too long ago, but the servers couldn't have been more awkward/condescending. Maybe they're using their B team at lunch? After my experience, I'll be sticking to Comme Ca, where the service lives up to the fare.
Gourmet PB&J's
Anyone had any gourmet pb&j's at unexpected restaurants as of late? (I know this was an earlier topic but wanted to see if there were any new answers). Thanks!
Gaby's Express
Does anyone know if Gaby's Express in Marina Del Rey is the same thing as Gaby's Meditteraean? What is the difference between the two? Does Gaby's Express only offer take-out items? Thanks!!!
Cookie Bakeries in SF
I am a huge fan of Specialty's cookies. Don't think they have Xmas themes one, but they are by far my favorite.
Your Favorite Chocolates Available in SF.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Joseph Schmidt's chocolates! They are my favorite in the city.

Overrated disappointments
I was disappointed with Frascati - it did not seem worthy of all the positive reviews I had heard...

3 days with Baby on Union Street
Home Restaurant on Union Street is very close to where you will be staying and offers pretty good comfort food and it is very kid-friendly. I love the corn bread there.
