Thinking about taking husband to Choctaw for birthday anything worth stopping for? BBQ,Burgers?

We ate at Red Curry in Dallas at Frankford/Marsh. Good food and BYOB we ordered a ton and was under $100 for 4 people.

Cane Rosso is on the list for me and my husband. We all will be meeting after work so that is the reason to stay in N Dallas.

Ok so we are looking for a Wednesday night restaurant with good food and possibly BYOB or cheap happy hour specials. Our typical spots are Jasper's, Bob's. Ethnic is ok we're just stuck in a rut!

It would be in Dallas. She told me they have an excellent wine list and food was great but she wasn't much help, HAHA

My friend told me about this place that was located "somewhere" on the south side of downtown. It is in an old converted gas station and they only have 2 seatings. Also the name is a woman's name. Does any of this information help? She said it was wonderful but ack she can't remember a thing!

I will be in the I-20/Lancaster Rd area, Looking for a great little lunch place. Willing to drive 5-10 mile radius. Just wondering if there is something worth my time in the area. All cuisines are welcome for suggestions.
