dog friendly restaurants in westchesrer

Unless you have a service dog I think the county health department would frown upon that! Be curious to hear otherwise....

Buffalo Wing Tour 2011 (westchester/putnam)

These guys are giving rating scores based on quality, taste & proper technique, why wouldn't any establishment they visit be hospitable?? Bravo fellas, keep up the good work!

Mini hamburger buns

Pepperidge Farms makes a great slider roll

Holy Smoke!

There's another Holy Smoke BBQ in Mahopac

Wedding/Reception site in Tri-State area for 500 guests

wilkensfarm.com is an outdoor venue in Westchester County that can handle a tented event that size.

Country Ham in the Hudson Valley.

You can find Smithfield Country Hams pretty much in any grocery store around however, for a seriously great smoked ham I suggest East Fishkill Provisions in Hopewell Jct, NY

Best Mexican w/ killer taco's in Fairfield County?

Help me find a great Mexican joint.......

The Burger Bar & Bistro, South Norwalk, CT

We had a great lunch, no complaints!

The Burger Bar & Bistro, South Norwalk, CT

Awesome burgers, fries, mac & cheese & beers!!!!! Business casual Pub setting at 58 North Main st in South Norwalk.

Mac & cheese at Mac Daddy's, Georgetown, CT

Just tried this place, if your a mac & cheese fan you need to give it a try!!! 20+ different versions of mac and cheese on the menu, nice upscale business casual setting w/ a bar.

Mac & cheese is served in several different sizes out of hot cast iron servers, I'm a chef and I love the comfort foods, the food here is really good!!

Looking for good pizza in the Hudson Valley

Pizzeria Lauretano in Bethel, CT and The First & Last Cafe in Danbury are both out of this world great! Lauretanos owner apprenticed in Naples, has all the traditional ovens and just makes some darn good pie!

First & Last Cafe is on Rt 37 just a few mile up from 84 when you get off at exit 5 in Danbury. Its a bar/ restaurant, the bar is a total local joint kind of a dive but the food in the back is out of this world.... The pizza is second to none!!!

Try them both, its worth the trip!

Jackalope BBQ Fishkill, NY

Anyone know of this place? It used to be the Umami Cafe. I'd like to hear comments on the BBQ if anyone has eaten there?

Danbury, CT - Decent eats and beer?

I think you got the wrong impression, if your in your 40's I think you would rather visit one of the two I suggested rather than applebees or tgif, those I would think are cheesy chains. Chucks Steakhouse has a nice bar, I'm hoping you are going to take the suits off and relax a bit, your 40's comment makes you sound as though you and your boys might like to take your work a bit to serious when your out of the office.

Wappingers & Fishkill Italian

There is the restaurant on Rt 9 East side just south of Old Hopewell Road and the other is on main street in fishkill, the same guy owns them both. His brother, Professor Luria, also teaches at the CIA as well as works at the Rt 9 eatery.

Sorry I cant remember the names, perhaps someone could help me out. Both are worth visiting!!

Sleeper of the week

For some fantastic wood fired pizza & other menu items you have to try the First & Last Cafe in Danbury, CT. Talk about a sleeper, the bar is a regular hangout but the dining room has food to die for, pizza is by far the best in this area!!

NY road trip

Without reservations your not going to experience much at the CIA other than the Apple Pie Bakery unless your friend is currently in a restaurant block, there he or she might be able to talk the Chef into slipping you in.

One tip for you is this, Caterina De Medici has 5 walk in tables in the Al Forno section, if your there by 11:30 AM your almost garunteed a table any day. You'll have the dining room menu only, Al Forno doesn't open until 1:00 pm if i remember correctly.

If Ralph is bartending, walk up and order your first drink, give him a nice tip and he'll give you a nice pour!

Students do get to keep or split tips in these venues so don't forget them as well!

Danbury, CT - Decent eats and beer?

Rosy Tomorrows or Molly Darcy's - both have good beer, good atmosphere & decent pub food. Both have bars that are great for social get togethers. Both close to exit 2 off 84
