Winery recommendations Amador City/Plymouth

We will be in the Amador City/Plymouth area for the next several days. We have been before and have enjoyed the wines of Coopers, Airie, Kamere etc. Would love to try some new wineries. Any favorite recommendations?

Dining options in Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper

We just returned from this area. I will say Andy's Bistro in Jasper was by far our best dinner on a three week trip. Also, dinner at Deer Lodge in Lake Louise was excellent.

One dinner in Salt Lake City...recs?

My husband and I spent last week in Salt Lake City (1st visit and loved it). We had dinner twice at Bambara at the Hotel Monaco and each night we had great food and service, also it would be a good venue for business colleagues to meet, as you can actually carry on a conversation. I don't have to much to compare it with as, we also ate at the Market Street Grill (so, so), The Red Iguana for lunch (ok) and Lugano's (which was outside of the city center).

Portland dinner recommendations for weekend trip with three daughters.

Thank you SauceSupreme. I have printed out your recommendations to take with me. Looking at the websites, everything sounds great. My daughters will thank you too. Regarding lunch, what would be your suggestions for a lunch on Saturday. Something on the lighter side, as we will be going to ten-01 for dinner. Most likely we will be in the Pearl District around lunch time.

Romantic Dinner in Tacoma area?

The Primo Grill is terrific. Also, on Wednesdays a bottle of wine is 1/2 off. For more romantic dining, request a booth.

Portland dinner recommendations for weekend trip with three daughters.

I would like to thank all of you for your replies. As of now, I have booked Andina for Friday night and Ten-01 for Saturday night. The reason I chose Oba for lunch, is that one of my daughters has been there before and really enjoyed it. These plans are open to change. We are all quite excited about this trip. This will be the first time in their adult years that just the four of us have been together, no husbands or children.
Again, all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Portland dinner recommendations for weekend trip with three daughters.

I am treating my three 30ish daughters to a weekend in Portland (we are from California and Washington). We will be staying at Hotel Monaco and I would like several dinner recommendations within walking distance. We would like something lively, but would like to l be able to converse, as we very rarely have a chance to all be together. We are open to most food types. I have made a lunch reservation for Oba on one of our days.

Thanks!

Only One Night in Portland

Next Friday my husband and I will be spending one night in Portland and staying at the Benson Hotel. With the help of others, I have narrowed it down to the following three restaurants (close to the Benson).

Pazzo
Typhoon
Oba

If you had only one night to dine out in Portland, which of these would you choose?

Thank you for your help.

Bend and Sun River recommendations?

Last year we had a great dinner and lunch at Merenda in Bend and I was wondering if the food was still as terrific?

Also, any Sun River restaurant recommendations for dinner.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

New place in Chico

We had dinner last evening at Annie's Asian Grill. What a wonderful find!
We share a California Roll, potstickers, my husband had the spicy chicken, which you wrap in lettuce leafs (which was fantastic and spicy), I had the vegetarian sobu noodles, which was a great choice. You can eat inside or outside on the patio. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Great find. Thank you.

New place in Chico

I am not familar with the Nile Cafe, so can you tell me where Annie's Asian Grill is located? It sounds like it could be a great addition to the food scene in Chico.

Help with Scottsdale restaurant choices

Thanks for the Malee's recommendation. It sounds terrific. I did make a reservation at Tarbell's and also Lon's. Now I need to decide on our remaining two evenings and have narrowed it down to Rancho Bistro, Roaring Fork, Deseo and Malee's.

All of you that live in the Scottsdale area are so lucky to have so many wonderful restaurants.

Any suggestions for a couple of lunches? Food on the light side, salads, etc., preferably out of doors.

Again, thank you

Help with Scottsdale restaurant choices

Thank you all for your great suggestions. Yes, I did mean Lon's. The reason I chose Roy's is that we do not have one close to where we live, Chico, CA. However, I think Cowboy Ciao sounds like a terrific replacement.
More suggestions and ideas of restaurants close to The Phoenician would be greatly appreciated.

NEED ROMANTIC BIRTHDAY RESTAURANT IN MONTEREY/CARMEL

We stayed in Carmel several weeks ago and had lunch at Casanova and it was delicious, as usual, also the ambience of the resturant is quite romantic. I have never had dinner there, but have had lunch there many times. We did have dinner at Pacific's Edge. The setting is beautiful, but I did not feel that the service and the food were quite up to what one would expect. We enjoyed watching the sunset as we had a glass of wine at the bar. If you get out to Carmel Valley, Cafe Rustica is a wonderful place to have lunch, as there food is soooooo good. Enjoy your visit.

Help with Scottsdale restaurant choices

My husband and I will be visiting Scottsdale for the first time this coming May. We will be staying at the Phoenician for five nights. I have made some tentative restaurant choices, but I am not sure where they are distance wise from the hotel.

After reading many reviews we are thinking of the following:

Our first night we plan on having dinner at the hotel's Windows on the Green.

Other choices for the following nights are:

Lou's, Roys, Rancho Pinot, Deseo and Roaring Fork.

Any thoughts, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated.

Thanks!

affordable special ocassion dining in chico area?

I would also suggest The Red Tavern. It definitely has the best food and service in Chico. On a nice day or evening you can sit out on their patio, which would make it easier for your group to visit. I feel their food is very reasonable for the quality and the service they provide. Their wine list is terrific and they try to use mostly local food products.
