Cannot narrow it down to one - but I'm certain that it involved lots of laughter, stories, and love.

Water or herbal iced tea. Strong coffee in the morning.

Make life a bit easier for those around me - Flyfish - Burble peas without losing them up my nose.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Ummmm ... kaluha cake, curried peanut potato salad, fruit pizza, black beans & rice.
My favorite comfort food:
Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup; tuna hotdish; tuna and macaroni salad; tomato sandwiches; peanut butter and jelly; fruit salad; a big bowl of Rocky Road or Peppermint ice cream.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Daisy Mint; Fredo's; The Oinkster; heck, I can't narrow it down to five.
My most tattered cookbooks:
I rarely use cookbooks to cook from, but I love to read 'em for inspiration and to learn techniques. Most tattered are an old "Better Homes and Gardens," "The Joy of Cooking," "Fannie Farmer," and James Beard's "American Cookery." Still have a couple of favorite cookbooks from my childhood, too, including one called "Loaves and Fishes," then there's the "Little House on the Prairie Cookbook," too. Nowadays, it's mostly Bittman's "How to Cook Vegetarian," "Passionate Vegetarian," by Crescent Dragonwagon, and Madhour Jeffrey's "World Vegetarian."
