Fried Chicken Catering???

Hi everyone,
I'd love to host a all fried chicken (and appropriate sides) birthday party for about 15 people at my house but i am at a loss as to where to find this kind of catering.

Should i just walk up to the closest Kennedy Fried Chicken or Crown Fried chicken and see if they'll do it??
I'd love suggestions..

Or as another option, i'm from queens and i think that he might appreciate the nice folks at da andrea on hudson.
personally hate centro vinoteca, the service is terrible and not worth it.

Cooking all parts of the pig!

Hi,

I'm trying to give my friend a cooking class for her birthday. She recently mentioned wanting to take some class that shows you how to cook all parts of the pig. I can't find it of course and I hoped someone saw this listing??
Any other similar suggestions are welcome and appreciated!!

Private-ish room for birthday dinner

Hi all,
i want to take my boyfriend to dinner for our one year anniv. or his birthday (they're close). And we're huge food fans (obv) but i'd love to take him to a homey, rustic place that maybe offers a "private" table or area just for two, nothing overly fancy bc we lean towards earthy, hearty food with a touch of style i guess? (read: peasant, spotted pig) i want a small rest. more downtown than not and something special more than what we usually do...
can you puhhlease help me?? it would mean so much to us.
thank you!

Birthday Party for Mid-20s Vegetarians

i vote planet thai in wburg = cheap, can handle big crowds
or N6 also in wburg = they are very sweet people and they love big birthdays

just as a PS falai is prob out of your price range but it's run by a carnivore/vegetarian husband wife team. maybe for next time?

i third the spotted pig
market table - new low key great food
raoul's in soho for steak
peasant for classy, older but downtown mellow crowd - great oven baked fish, pasta & pizzas
and tia pol, so you can scare them with the west side avenues...

visiting for the weekend from NYC

I have some of the best restaurants around me here in ny. But I want to be able to enjoy what SF has that nyc doesn't.
I have two nights and three days - what are my must-go-to brunch, lunch and dinners? from hole in the wall to fancy and exotic?
ps. there is a chinese rest that i've eaten at - the most popular it seemed in sf? i can't remember the name. help?

thank you so much!

my very pregnant sister needs to eat...

Hi,

My mom and I are bringing my sister out for a baby-shower-late-lunch this Sunday and the meal is really going to be fuel for baby related shopping more than anything. So I need great suggestions for a restaurant on the way to the Long Island shopping we're going to do - preferably east queens or nassau county??
Anything easy (since my sister is two weeks away from being due and very pregnant.) and delicious (for the same afore mentioned reason.)

Thanks so much everyone!

thanks guys!
regarding sam's club. i need to know they will be there when i need them. i can't depend on sam's club and see that they are short 200 doughnuts. also can't buy them in advance bc they'll go stale. i need to find a vendor who will take an order in advance and deliver when i need them. sigh!

Giorgione uptown?

I need to find a restaurant to accomadate my uncle (his treat), and four other family members. I would love to take them to Giorgione but it's probably a little too far downtown for some. My other ideals would have been Peasant and Landmarc. I'm looking in this price range and ambiance - not busy but not loud and crowded - but uptown :P
Any suggestions?? help!
