Top 5 Singapore Restaurants.
My favorite is the Long Bar at Raffles. Great experience, friendly staff, great satay, cold Tiger beer, and you can feed the birds that fly in with the peanuts that are on your table. Clarke Key is another good stop. In addition, there are food courts all over the place and some are very good. Enjoy, Singapore is a 10.
Andre's in Newton, NJ
Andre's has been in Newton for a number of years. Alway excellent, always consistent. Very much worth a trip. Also in the area you might want to try these two exceptional places. Mattar's Bistro, Allamuchy, NJ and Hotel Fauchere, Milford, PA.

Jump in a cab ( they are cheap) go to Raffles Hotel. The Long Bar is on the second floor. Order Satay and a yard of Tiger beer. Unforgettable!
spaghetti sauce
I can remember when I was growing up, my mother would make spaghetti sauce. She would simmer the pot all day long. The house would smell great. Does anyone have an old family recipe similar to this? Most of the recipes I have found just want to "get it done quick"

leftover mashed potatoes
Anyone have a good recipe for making breakfast type potato pancakes out of leftover mashed potatoes? thanks
