Day Trip suggestions in Boston - Walking from Faneuil Hall to Fenway
With 7 hours to kill you have a lot of time. I agree that Eastern Standard or ICOB are the places to end your walk and have dinner before the game (make reservations!). If you do the Charles Street walk, you can then go through the Public Garden and make your way down Newbury Street and window shop, stop at one of the numerous bars and restaurants with outside patios.
Best spots to buy culinary herbs (to grow)
Yes, Mahoney's has a wide variety (the only one I am familiar with is Winchester). I think they would have everything you are looking for.
Is Charl's Ice Cream Still Around?
Looking forward to hearing about this. I used to like their "bon bons" (chocoloate covered ice cream balls). Is this what you mean when you say "truffles?" Theirs were high-quality and make for a quick, non-heavy desert.

And what's going on with Olive's? Is it open or not? Has anyone been there?
Party of 6. Mare or mamma Maria?
I have always had good service and food at Mamma Maria. I haven't been to Mare, but a recent review in the Globe talked about quite poor service. Here it is:

Lunch near TD Garden-this Friday
There are lots of sports bar/Irish bar type places around TD Garden. You aren't going to find anything that knocks your socks off, just your standard pub fare. The Fours is Ok.
Boston Business Lunch?
Legal's Harborside 1st floor (less expensive floor) can be very loud. Probably not the best place for a business lunch. Other Legal's would probably work though. If fish is the food of choice, you could also consider Atlantic Fish in the Back Bay.
Let’s make a list of obnoxiously loud restos
Another not in Camberville, but very loud -- Legal's Harborside, 1st Floor
Monday lunch in Charleston
I enjoy having lunch at Fleet Landing. The food is not in the league of the other places you are going and won't knock your socks off, but it is fine and if it is a nice day it's nice to be by the water.
Casa Romero?
Casa Romero is fine. I went there last year before a Red Sox game. Hasn't changed much in years, but it's fine.
Best lobster roll thats not 30 bucks
The hot lobster roll at Neptune is really delicious. Just lobster and butter. About $25 including fries.
Easter dinner out or catered
Not my first choice, but to accommodate the elder in the group we went to Cafe Escadrille. They don't offer anything very exciting, but they do a good job for what they are. They are not usually open on Sunday, but open for Easter. The place was packed.
Medford Square Oyster Bar Coming Soon
This is going to be operated by the Carroll's family. They owned Carroll's restaraunt for many years, it was a little ways down the street where a professional building stands now.
Work Dinner for 15-20 in the North End? Sigh.
I thought of Mamma Maria, too. They also have valet parking if someone wants to use that, otherwise, just park at one of the lots down by the water and walk up.
Nice dinner in theater district? What's new? What's good?
We enjoy Market in the W Hotel. Food is good, prices not too bad, people are very nice.
5 Nights in Ogunquit - Here are my picks
We love 98 Provence. Also have been happy at MC Perkins, White Barn, Arrows, 5-O. Have not been to others you mention. We always like Gypsy Sweethearts, too.

What is the attraction of drinking beer out of paper bags? Is there something I don't know?
So-Gross-They're-Good Faves
I don't consider it gross or smelly, but it's certainly not going to win any awards for its ambiance, but I like the original Demo's in Watertown. The shishkebab is pretty good and you can't beat the prices. I also like the weird evening service where you place your order, sit down and then they find you and bring your meal to the table without using any numbers or anything.

There's an Anna's and a Chipotle close to each other in Davis and they both seem to survive.
restaurant suggestion near Faulkner Hospital Boston
Yes, the food at Bernards is pretty good, but the place is showing its age. Could use a redo.

Tenoch Mexican Restaurant has opened in Medford Square. Here's an article about it:

Business dinner near Pru
I have not been yet, but what do people think of La Voile on Newbury as an option?
Business dinner near Pru
L'Espalier comes to mind, but it is very high end and sounds a bit too sedate for what you are looking for. There are a bunch of steak houses in the area, but they are just typical. Not too far from the Pru, a short cab ride, is Hammersley's Bistro. It's a Boston classic and I don't really think you can go wrong bringing someone there. It's a very nice restaurant, but not stuffy.
4 days stuck in the Copley Mall ends with a sad, sad drink...
Maker's Manhattan straight up is my go-to drink. I prefer them stirred.
Best shrimp Scampi in Boston or Cambridge
The side veggies are quite bland, too. But, all of the fish is super-fresh and priced very reasonably. Wine and beer available, too.
Not exactly shrimp scampi, but the linguine with white clam sauce at the original Daily Catch is delicious.
Looking for a great lunch spot in Charleston
If you're looking for casual and on the water in the Historic District, Fleets Landing is probably your best bet. The food is pretty good, but, nothing outstanding. But, it's a nice, relaxed place to go after a flight. That's what we do when we get in mid-day.
Seeking recs for Mom's 80th in Boston (fun, not frumpy!)
Consider Hammersley's Bistro. It's a Boston classic suitable for a special occassion, but not stuffy. Their signature dish is a superb roast chicken -- so there's definitely something for everybody.
Ancient Grandparents and Easily-bored Teen: Saturday Dinner
Mamma Maria could work. They valet.
