Lebanese food?
I'm taking out clients to dinner next month. These people have been to the middle east and they always tell me that the Lebanese food is delicious there. Does anybody know any authentic Lebanese food in Manhattan? It doesn't have to be fancy. Thanks for your help
Korean in Annandale for first experience?

HELP ASAP!! West Los Angeles folks looking for sushi joint in McLean/Tyson's area this evening.
I don't remember whether Konami has a sushi bar, better call. This restaurant has best ambiance among the restaurants i listed before. Remind your partner not to get his hopes high since sushi in west coast still unbeatable in terms of freshness and selections.
Specialty meat market?
After searching for offals in the suggested places, here what I found: There is no sweetbreads in Wegman's Virginia. IAnd none in Springfield's butcher. I've been going to Wagshall's in DC, they have variety of offals but you have to call before to check. So far, I've been buying frozen sweetbreads from there. They only have fresh ones once a week. BUT...Wholefoods market in Centreville/Fair Lakes has fresh sweetbreads, veal kidneys, and tounges. They are cheaper too than the ones in Wagshall's. Thanks everyone for the ideas.

There are three restaurants that I frequent.
1. Tachibana (the most complete sushi, I think)
2. Ichiban(decent)
3. Miyagi at Curran Street.
Konami is kinda fusion (has Thai dishes), Yama...the taste is so..so. No sushi place around this area compares to West Coast, but the most decent still Tachibana and maybe Miyagi. Good luck.
singapore--little india, chinatown, orchard road
I agree with the previous posters, you should try Banana Leaf Apollo. Come early for lunch because it will get very packed especially during weekends. My favorite eating place that I can't miss every time I go there is Lei Garden restaurant. They have two locations....the location in Victoria St. is better (at Chijmes). Chijmes offers variety of restaurants (Japanese, Western, etc). If you're still confused, just walk half down to Raffles the City Shopping Center. You'll find even more restaurants and cafes. Go to basement for 'budget' dinning. Enjoy.
deep in Virginia
My favorite hang out (especially after 10pm) is Amphora restaurant and bakery in Vienna. They open 24 hours and their menu is very varied. I like their spaghetti with meat sauce. www.amphorabakery.com. This is not a fancy restaurant but isn't like IHOP or Silver diner either.
Specialty meat market?
Anybody knows where I can buy sweetbreads, calf's lungs, calf's brains? I've had these in several restaurants in this area...I'm sure, there are meat suppliers who sell these types of meats. Thanks.
Looking for great food hole in the wall - $$ - french cusine
These are decent places where you can eat French food without breaking your bank: La Madeleine ( I know it's kinda of chain restaurants) and Cafe Parisian Express on Lee Highway. Of course, you can't compare them with bistros in France in terms of taste and price. Good luck.
